Skill Development Program (Jackrabbits)

NordicSS3Skill Development Program (Jackrabbits)

9-13 week training program for SPNC members

Saturday, December 2, 2017 through to Saturday, Feb 3, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:30 am

The SPNC follows the Cross Country Canada Skill Development Program for children. Our program is directed at young skiers between the ages of 4 – 18, who want to learn the basics of cross country skiing, both classic and skating, with the goal to instill a lifelong interest in the sport and enhance both their quality of life and health. This program will help children develop confidence, provide them with an opportunity to ski and socialize with their ski friends, build overall motor skills, develop outdoor winter safety skills, but most importantly to have FUN!

The SPNC program offers coaching for Bunnyrabbits (age 4-5), Jackrabbits (age 6-8), Track Attack (age 9-12) and Youth (age 13-18). The club has 8 NCCP qualified coaches for the program.
